The Naples Depot is part of the Collier County Museum system.

There will be a requested donation for admission to the show site of $5 for adults and $2.50 for children.  We will not be charging admission but rather asking for this suggested donation.  The location of this site is highly visible (directly on US 41 with traffic of about 40,000 cars per day).  The tanks will be situated in a manner that will give us very good crowd control and extremely good access for the judges and benching personal.  When you arrive with your koi you will be able to drive right up next to your tank for unloading and loading.

We expect to have two tents 10x20’ one for registration and one as a hospitality tent,  an 8’x8’ for the people collecting money for admission  DONATIONS and a 10’x10’ tent for new membership  registration and raffle items.  We are hoping for each of the vendors to have a small tent and a 6’ tank for wet vendors.  Additional tanks and space will be available for an additional fee.  Vendors will be provided with air and electricity.

Current plans are for a site layout to accommodate as many tanks as needed, starting with a basic layout of 30 tanks (10-14 8ft.and the balance 6ft tanks.

We will follow up with additional info shortly.

The hotel is an easy drive straight up US41 from the show site.

We have been given very good rates by this Hotel.  They are newly owned and beautifully remodeled.  The pictures on their website do not show the redecorated rooms yet.  I have put on hold 30 rooms for our group.  The hold will be good till 10/15/07.  The hotel will honor the show rate after that date providing space is available.

Friday night we have a function planned at Maximo’s restaurant, very nicely located between show site and the Hotel.  This will be a sponsored event with heavy Italian style hors d’oeuvers and cash bar.  The restaurant will close off the bar as well as the outdoor seating area for us.  We are presently working with the restaurant owner on the menu and hope to have a listing by late Sept. 1, so check back.

The Awards Banquet  pricing and location will not be set until late Sept, so again, please check back for pricing and the banquet registration form.

The show site will be set up Thursday afternoon and the tanks will be filled and ready by Friday noon

Again this year, we will be limiting the vendor attendance and most of the vendors from last year have committed to joining us again this year.  By doing this, we are hoping that the show will have a good mix of high quality domestic Koi up thru Japanese imports and a couple of dry goods vendors.  We would rather have fewer vendors and have them do well than have too many and no one do well.

This should be a fun show for everyone, with plenty of time and space to all to talk to the vendors, old friends and make new friends.  Many in the ZNA Southern Koi Association are also avid Koi Show pin collectors, so if you are interested in pins and want to buy, sell, trade or just plain talk about pins, now is your opportunity.  Martin Wilcox has been in charge of our show pin design for the last two years and he will be at the show with his vast pin collection for sale, trade or chit chat.  So, be sure to seek out Martin if you want to learn more about Koi Show pins.
